Great book! This book had action, adventure, some clean romance, and a great cast of characters. It is well worth the money.

The author has created believable characters and of course my favorite being, the Man With No Face. Just imagine waking up with no face. His situation was traumatizing, yet he persevered. I felt a great deal of empathy with this character.

The world building was great, and I found the Kin particularly interesting.

Overall I recommend this book. It was well written and ended in a way that I thought was conducive to a sequel.

Fun story with likable and loathable characters.

THE TRADER opens in an impossible scenario with unlikely elements - it's science fiction so roll with it. While the story moves along rapidly, I, the reader, didn't get the sense of time's progression. There are a few scene breaks early in the book which lend to the allusion of the passage of time; but, for some reason the author abandoned that technique, causing me to lose that sense.

I was frequently distracted by the authors use of the word THE. The word was used in such a way that I got the feeling the author assumed I had prior knowledge of a person or object; almost like material relating to "the" had been deleted without further editing the sentence or paragraph.

I'd like to have seen more development of the material mined its composition, use, economic value, etc.

All in all, I liked it. The characters grew on me. The story line progressed from its opening absurdity to a believable plot, and ended with the option for a sequel.

Coming to a theater near you. Maybe not, but one never knows.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book by R.K. Mann. Smooth pacing and great character development. I am anxiously awaiting the second book in this series!

R. K. Mann has written a unique story, or space opera if you like, with well-rounded characters, (you can picture them), and fantastic world-building. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you Mr Mann!
I really liked this book it has a slow and steady pace to it that I enjoyed. The story line is very different and unique, the character development it top notch. R k Mann did such an amazing job with this book. If you r looking for something to make you think and like unexpected twists and turns read this book!!
This book held my attention from the beginning; I loved the story line . The author made the characters seem so real and you could feel their pain and suffering; I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes to read Science fiction. I hope there will be a second book about the Trader and his lady. I would definitely buy it. I think I will be reading more books from R.K. Mann.
Set in the future books have many pitfalls to overcome. The author skillfully creates a universe that you can actually believe. I could see the social settings in this book being a possible future for us.

The 2 main characters are AMAZING! Their story and struggle gripping. The Kin (no spoilers) make you think what a different life could be like. The book (for me) brings to life the balance we have between our heads and our hearts. It ends with the possibility for a sequel (Please be true!) and I hope we wont have to wait to long for it.

All in all great story and a phenomenal read, it was well worth the money. I would highly recommend!
